The first generation Vortex PSTs are being sold off now, they are a real value at their current price around $500. Not as nice as the 2nd generation scopes, but they are $1,000 which is pretty much what he first gens were a couple years ago.
While Varget is my favorite load for accuracy, a ball powder would be good if you what to throw your charges and not weight every one. 2520 or 748, really any ball powder in the burn rate of Varget, probably a bit faster if you are shooting 150 gr bullets, perhaps TAC or H335. Like .223 , 308...
Sad to miss this match, one of the things I have had to give up due to age. I believe this was my favorite match of the year a few years ago. I woul have loved to do it wen I was in my 50s and young. Steve and the crew put on a great match and it must be a nightmare for the ROs who have to...
Will there be a pre-match description of the course of fire?
I am really getting excited about this match, hard to believe I haven't been to Mayberry in a few years. Before I got old my favorite match was the carbine match.

All the bears at the Mifflin Co Sportsmen Club are free to come and go. Haven't seen one this year, but normally there are a number of sightings per year.

Glad to see this match back, have shot it a few times, and this may be the match to motivate me back to IDPA? Also there are some great Crab Cakes around Lexington.
Wondering if there is any word on the Mayberry Carbine Match? This is one of the best matches of the year and must be getting close, but I have seen nothing on it?
Buddy;
You are welcome, couldn't even try to run a match at Mifflin without "guest ROs" so thank you as well. Results just went out, congratulations you were second overall.
