      Savage 555 O/U

      I've messed around with a few at the store and Im impressed with the weight and feel. As with the 512 they are Turkish manufacture but with a much lighter alloy receiver (6lb total weight in 12ga). We have sold a few but I have not heard any feedback

      Sometimes it can be alot of people, if we get .22lr or 9mm I dont even bother taking it out of the cases and putting it on the shelf anymore

      Shockwave Raptor pistol grip

      I decided my 500 cruiser needed a new look, never really liked the stock pistol grip, so I ordered one of the Raptor grips from Shockwave Technologies.       Not so sure about the forend, we tried to put a blackhawk kit on one at work, and the slide mounts were different..that was the oem slide though im sure on from a 500 would fit

      NICS: 8 weeks now for shotgun, still no answer

      Dicks policy regarding 4473s is that they are void after 30 days after the filling date, aftyer that they have to be done again under policy, unfortunately sometimes NICS doesnt respond within the 30 days

      Ill admit, Dicks can really be hit or miss when it comes to firearms knowledge, it depends on the area. I work at westminster and everybody in the lodge pretty much knows their stuff, we hear horror stories from customers all the time about some of the other stores

      they are made by sun city manufacturing in china and imported by savage under the stevens name, we sell a good amount, imo better to spend the extra and get a mossberg or remington

      those diamond elites were made for dicks during 2010 so any that are left in stores are clearance models, should be 799 by now
