Screw Converting .223 Brass to .300AAC
I convert my own and it shouldn't be taking you that long at all. Not even close. 15 hours for 300 pieces of brass is crazy. I've never timed myself but if I had to guess I'd say I spend about 30 seconds of total time converting each piece. You only have to do it once per piece of brass. As... -

LC Brass Prep
+1 :thumbsup: I've loaded thousands of .223 using a Full Length die set and have never had an issue with reliability with any one of my semi's. As long as you resize correctly you'll be just fine. Especially out of a bolt gun. I do suggest using a case gauge when setting up your resizing die... -

Melonite in MD
I would suggest Ionbond DLC coating instead of melonite. It's tougher and doesn't require the high heat that melonite does during the coating process. It also can be done on all parts, including small ones (melonite cannot be done on small parts).- Flipz
