Even if you can find 00 buck in a 2 3/4" or 3" 20 gauge shotgun shell, it is not an efficient way to deliver maximum killing energy to the target for this gauge, and it just isn't worth the trouble. This is because 20 gauge has a bore of about .615", 00 Buckshot is about .33" in diameter, so...
I have an older uplander supreme with the single selective trigger. No issues at all. I have mostly shot the Remington ammunition they sell at loch raven.
I have the stoeger uplander supreme in 20ga, which is very similar to the coach gun and I love it. If you want a 20ga coach gun then buy it, it will be fine for home defense.
Everyone else will tell you to buy a Remington 870 or mossberg 500 in 12ga if you want a hd shotgun which is good advice...
I would try some other ammo. The thunderbolt is available cheap in the bulk pack and it is solid round nose ammo, it might feed better.
What sort of "feeding issues" does your GP100 have?
That's a really nice combo you've got there. I have been looking at buying a pistol and have been thinking really hard about a beretta just so I could eventually pair it with a storm carbine.
depends on the choke and the ammunition. Look on the box the shells came in you should be able to shoot foster or brenneke type slugs through it as long as the choke isn't too tight.
No sabot slugs, they are for rifled barrels.
with a double barrel and bead sight you won't get great...
What do you do with the crow after you shoot it? Can you eat crow?:innocent0 Do you just leave it there for vultures and coyotes?
Sorry if that's a dumb question, I have never been hunting and hope to go deer hunting for my first time this year.
I have a savage 64 gxp that I wanted to install iron sights on also.
I looked around but didn't find anything that looked very good, the barrel is tapered and not cut for a front sight so there weren't many options. The sights that I thought might work cost about as much as the rifle did...
what's your club? Loch raven was $7 for non members. I only go about once a month so membership dues usually end up costing me more than paying non member rates.
I have a mossberg 500 12ga 28" vent rib barrel, it's fine for trap, a little tougher for skeet. I just really liked the 20ga...
Saturday I took a friend trap shooting for the first time. Actually it was his first time ever shooting a gun at all. He had a great time and is now looking for a shotgun.
We went to Loch Raven and rented a 20ga for him and I used my mossberg 500 12ga, then we switched guns for the second...
I have a job right now, but I don't have any passion for it. I think that I would really like to work at the APL and wanted to talk to someone who does. I have some questions about the different departments, career paths, advancement, pay scale, etc. I saw that there is an APL gun club listed on...
