He needs ~15 students to run it. He has tried to run it before, but hasn't gotten enough interest...

This is at New Holland range, located in GAP PA, not far from MD border. Its a nice facility and the mover system they have setup there is good...
So is anyone going? Trebark and I are there, but this is a "new shooters" match (only guys that haven't shot at ASC before can attend) so regular guys like SteveinMD and the Pohuski's are all NO GOs.
If anyone is going or wants to prep for one in the future, Tom Jr (TRP7 here on the forum...

Wow, so the Pohuski's absolutely dominated the Fall 2011 ASC. Tom Jr winning it! And his pop and uncle rounded out the top 5.

3rd: Josh Mann 48
4th: Tom Pohuski Sr. 49

Is there anything in the works? If so, what is projected date and type (carbine, precision, team)?
With ASC going in a few weeks and Black Hat Sniper Challenge a week later, I know the focus is there, but I would like to get any dates cleared with my boss (aka wife). Thanks
Hey guys-
I looked thru the thread MD Ranges but I don't know MD well enough to find out the answer to this question...
I am meeting a guy to shot a limited number of rounds thru my rifle (he might buy it). I need a spot that is somewhere close to Beltway, between Greenbelt and Bethesda...
Hello all-
I'm looking for a chrono that has a larger than average skyscreen. Reason is that I'm interested in having this unit downrange (500+yds) and shooting thru it for velocity data. The bigger the skyscreen, the less worries about killing it or not getting data.
Any help much...
I personally loved 1st Edition and plan on getting the 2nd Edition for the 61 new bullets. If you guys are reloading for max ballistic performance, Applied Ballistics is the book to have!

This is in the PA forum and you all might not have seen it there. Looks like a good match - its got movers.

Hey Appleseeders-
I'm attending the 4/5 Dec shoot down near Richmond VA with my M-4. I was doing some practice this weekend for it and found out I really don't understand the Course of Fire (COF).
My understanding is that they use the Army Qualification Test targets and shoot as follows...
Hey all-
I'm upgrading the trigger in my long-range AR (currently has a solid but heavy RRA 2 stage). I'm wondering if anyone here has any recommendations on good single stage triggers. The Timney AR Solid and the American Trigger AR Gold are of some interest to me.
Thanks in advance for any...

CVT and Ed Shell are VERY good
Last weekend (25/26 Sept 2010), forum members Oliver Lottermann, Matt “Trebark” and I attended a rifle class at Central Virginia Tactical (CVT) taught by Ed Shell. I wanted to share our experience with the forum in case anyone is considering long-range training. I have attached a lot of photos...
So the textbooks say that making the blunt meplat less blunt improves the form factor of a bullet, thereby improving its BC and resulting external ballistics. Small bullets are especially helped because their meplat to caliber diameter ratio is high (for example a 77gr SMK has a meplat of...
