Yeah, I know I can replace it - just paranoid about breaking it when I do lol! So with my luck, a simple replacement will turn into a broken lower. just paranoid because stupid SB281 and not being able to just get another one...- t0tln00b

Nope - haven't done that. This one was "my baby" - Seekins lower, BCM upper. I was very excited for it....got to shoot one mag. To be honest, I don't exactly know what happened. We were shooting in a group. I lent it to a guy who didn't have one and next thing I know, he is handing it back...- t0tln00b

Thanks! CMMG is actually going to send me a replacement. But I am worried about backing out the existing roll-pin - what are the chances I will break off the part? I broke the ear on the trigger guard already so I am skittish I guess- t0tln00b

So on my first trip to the range, the paddle of the bolt catch broke on my AR15. :banghead: Now, before SB281, not exactly good but not that big a deal. But after sb281, what happens if I accidentally break off one of the "ears" when backing out the roll pin? Don't want to be SOL, so I am...- t0tln00b

Off topic but really, if you understand concepts of what you are implementing, learning a different platform isn't all that difficult. Just look at HP config guides to learn HP commands to implement the design. Be aware of gotchas and platform limitations and you are good!- t0tln00b

AR building, best $1.50 I have ever spent!
+1 - lost 2 detents before I stumbled across this trick on the interwebs. Taped up the blade and it couldn't have been easier....
