"Charges filed against the student include Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Weapon in a Safe School Zone"
What am I missing? BB gun is a deadly weapon??? I don't approve of...
I am thinking about buying a car from a MD dealer as a Delaware resident. Anyone know how this works as far as MD sales tax (not paying it). I know I will have to pay the DE registration tax (4.5% I think). And I would get a credit for the MD tax of 6% up to the 4.5%. So I would still be out...
Didn't see this elseware, hope it's not a dupe. Sucks for the guy, but he should have known the rules. Rules suck, but getting caught up in them is worse.
Story
Just finished Day 1 of the MD CCW at Atlantic Tactical with RS. He and I got into a discussion about the new DE law. He felt DE CCW exemption didn't make it into the final signed bill. I pulled up the current updated code and it looks like it made it into the final signed bill. Therefore...
Having trouble with the link, but lawsuit was filed on behalf of DSSA, Bridgeville Rifle, and others yesterday. Will link when I get to a computer.

This is new Delaware bill to edit various meanings related to sexual orientation (HB224):
“Gender identity” means a gender-related identity, appearance, expression or behavior of a person, regardless of the person’s assigned sex at birth.
Why not say "actual biological sex"?
Today, the Delaware Superior Court issued its decision in the NRA-backed DSSA v. Garvin case, striking down the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) regulations that banned hunting deer with semi-automatic rifles.
Delaware law, and the DNREC, have...
Anybody familiar with a new resident registering a car in DE? The way I read it, if the car has been registered in another state for more than 90 days, you pay a 4.25% fee upon registering the vehicle in DE. Am I reading that correctly?
I was thinking about something. The 10 capacity magazine limit is a Maryland law. Out of state retailers I have asked won't ship to Maryland any thing over 10 capacity mags. Why? They are not subject to Maryland law. Wouldn't that be governed under federal law, with no such limitation...
What is the deal with steel casings. I was in Walmart last night and they had a rollback on 9mm steel casing rounds. I know my local range doesn't permit steel casings. Is there any downside?
Once all the paperwork and 7 day wait is done, can a spouse (or anybody) transport a gun that is not "registered" to them?
My wife technically bought the handgun. After we pick it up. Could I take it to the range on my own? This sounds nitpicky, but just trying to understand.
This just popped up in an email.

How long does a 77R stay in the system if you don't initially purchase a gun?
My wife and I got our HQLs. We both completed the 77R. She bought a gun yesterday. (I won't be in town to pick up the gun). What happens to my 77R if I don't purchase a gun in my name for some length of time...
I asked about cleaning and lubing supplies in another thread. The issue of corrosion was mentioned. My gun will be in Ocean City (windows open every time I can). I know our bike take a salty air beating. Any concerns I should think about on a handgun (or two).
