Just quickly want to note your wisely framed and unfortunately rational response. Cheers, and best to all, including foremost the OP and their inevitable difficulty ahead.

I found a 16” barrel on PSA, stamped:
“HBAR PSA 1/7” or some such... without it shamelessly stamped so obviously across the finish, I wouldn’t even bring it in my house. This is an 80% build too, so there’s no chance of the receiver being stamped. However, it’s possible you could have one of...
I owned the Sig, but not the Taurus. That said, the Sig was a wonderful gun, a pleasure to hold, fun to shoot and even pretty simple to double tap with some practice!
Biggest Takeaway here though: you said yourself one looks better but you’ve heard one performs better. On that alone, I’m going...
Don't forget about:
Sccy CPX-2, 9mm in any color for around $250
Ruger LCP, .380, $199
Just to give a couple of smaller and low cost options.
Personally I'm getting a Sccy next week. Anyone here is welcome to try it out! Good luck on your hunt. Who knows, maybe I'll like it more than my Sig ;D...
I got the EZJig from 80percentarms. It was perfect. It was my first attempt and came out just fine. You need the end mill, a router, and hand drill. Variable speed and height adjustment are key on the router. Just take it real slow and do not rush!
The jig was about $150. I do want to keep...
I want one even though it's stupid... lol. But... how is it anything like an "AR15" other than the caliber? Is it a break action single shot pistol? What on earth is happening!!

Thank you for the post! Boy, those went quick. And to the others- my thoughts, as well, that they are giving these away to us because the next (fully metal railed??) Model is coming out, for which we will gladly pay full price.. ha!

Welcome, friend! I love Michigan. You may know where Edmore is at? Have a friend there. I'm a tinkerer too. I love to see others who disassemble and study things. That was most of my childhood (is childhood really ever over?)
I'd be interested in taking part of the large purchase, possibly. I...
Awesome, thanks to everyone for the replies! I bet it won't beat my Sig but then in terms of what it is, you never know. Could be relatively just as good. Great point about mags and holsters though, and you're right- Glock stuff is as easy to find as AR stuff... super plentiful and too many...
I'm thinking about getting a Sccy cpx-2 9mm to try out. Anyone with any experience using this firearm? If possible I'll rent one at the range first, but for the price and according to most reviews, it might be a safe blind purchase for fun and potentially EDC/CCW.
Curious if anyone has any...
Welcome, friend! That Sig is a great choice. I miss my SP2022 9mm, would love another in .45. Cheers, looking forward to discussions, progress, and maybe some shooting up at Elk Neck.
One more I'm thinking about getting... there's a UTG 15" two-piece drop in, with FSB cutout, about $100. I really like it. Another company, Firefield? makes one in OD but it's only 12". Looks cheap though. Cheers!
