Sad news. A great, fun loving guy who was also an awesome shot.
Has a Ruger P89 special edition identical to mine. We shot them side by side at Elk Neck.
He will be missed by so many, for a whole lot of reasons.
He worked so long, and hard for all of our rights.
Thanks big man...
thanks for the kudos everyone.
I'm just sick and tired of hearing this crap from these people.
Here's a little more encouraging news. I started a forum poll about hunting on the SUNPAPERS talk forum.
so far the results are pretty awesome...
If you're in Harford you're close to Hopewell F&G in Stewartstown PA.
Across 152 to 23 to PA 24 to Austin lane.
25 minutes from Fallston.
Thursday nights - Trap and 5 stand 25 bird sporting clays
Saturdays - Trap, and 50 bird walk through sporting clays course
BTW... in a previous discussion Maress claimed to be a practiced shooter, and figures herself to be as good, or better than I am. Now I have no idea how well she shoots, but I do know that I've never shot a deer with my rifle where I didn't hit the heart.
I get it, and you get it, but she's on a mission, and these suffering animals are useful martyrs for her cause, which is to save the pretty little harmless animals from us big, mean, nasty hunters.
...but I want to share this .... just because.
