      New LC9s Pro

Just picked up a new Ruger LC9s Pro and put 100 rounds through it at On Target. Very nice firearm. No hiccups, no burps, FTF or FTE with round nose or Hollow Points. The trigger was unexpectedly light – will take some getting used to. Fired off a few inadvertent double taps, so I’ll need a...

What did you do at your reloading bench today?

Always.. Roll crimp revolver loads, taper crimp for semi-auto. Don't need no bullet creep!

Mag shopping in PA/VA; living in Frederick

My "go to" place in Pennsylvania is Buchanan Trail Sporters in McConnelsburg. Great, friendly people, lotsa reloading components, and great selection of mags. I usually try to hit the place every month or so. Take 70 to just north of the Pa line, and then 522 north into McConnelsburg...

      advice/opinion?

OP here Thank you all for the learned advice. I loaded a small batch with Magnum primers, identical powder charge & crimp, and went to On Target yesterday. Noticed no appreciable difference between the two - same recoil, same blast. Accuracy about the same. Moderate primer flattening in...

      advice/opinion?

I just finished loading 200 .357s. 158gn JHP over 14g of 296 (from the Speer Manual.) The book says to use Small Pistol Magnum Primers under the 296. I inadvertently used the standard Small Pistol Primers for this batch... What, if any problems might I encounter? Thanks, in advance for your...

      Lesson Learned

So, I was at the range a few weeks ago and decided to take my Super Redhawk and fire off some old reloads that had been gathering dust in an unlabeled container. I went through about 150 rounds and didn’t notice anything unusual except for some difficult extractions and a few extra smoky...

      45ACP primer size

Apologies if this has been asked/answered. Been reloading for awhile, but just recently into 45ACP. Regarding the different primer pocket sizes, what effect will small vs. large primers have on my ballistics/reloading data. My book specs "large pistol primers", but I've come across some brass...
