I have a neomag, but don't love it because the mag in my pocked weighs the pocket down. I also carry a pen in one front pocket and a knife in the other, so having one more thing clipped there is a bit much.
Most of the time, I just carry my spare mag in an OWB kydex mag ouch on the opposite...
I carry every day, and have for several years. The only clothing I have that could be considered specifically for carrying are:
Stiff belts (Kore gun belts mostly)
Columbia fleece vests. That one extra layer can help concealment.
I carry a g27 regularly wearing shorts and a t-shirt. No...
I have one of these tethered in each of my cars.
I don't love leaving a gun in my car though, so I don't use them often. They will deter a smash and grab.
You need to get FL or UT. I got both pretty quickly, you might be able to get them before August. I'm pretty sure I got both within 30 days of submission.
The reason this is news is because of who it is. Bobby Cherry was the president of the FOP, and has been very outspoken with respect to the current leadership in BPD and in the city.
Jane Miller has friends in high places, and Sgt Cherry isn't always nice to them.
Back in the day I did the informal appeal - since it is conducted by the same people who issued the restricted permit, you can imagine how it went. Had a very nice conversation with a Trooper, and he denied my appeal. Before I got to the handgun review board, they changed the rules, and I went...
Plenty of good reasons for not open carrying notwithstanding, it's way overblown for people with permits.
I don't "open carry", but I regularly carry in an OWB holster under a sport coat, while wearing a suit (did that today), wearing a pullover, sweater, or hoodie.
The vast majority of...
I've had good experiences at Das Bierhalle at Harford and Joppa (used to be the Barn). The draft selection is decent, food is good. Fun place.
Also, for the true beer nerd, Max's on Broadway is where it's at.
.
No. You still need an HQL. Permit to Carry a Handgun training does satisfy the HQL training requirement, though. I applied for my permit/HQL at the same time (and yes, had to be fingerprinted twice.)
Several years ago, I supported the legislative fight to allow wine shipments to consumers in MD. There was one person in the GA, who was on the committee, who had a vested interest in the 3 tier distribution system and individually stopped that legislation for years. Finally got it done. But...
I'm a real estate agent in Baltimore. I am assuming you are represented by an agent. If so, coordinate with them exactly what you need to do to satisfy the buyer's lender per the terms of the contract. If it's a lender required repair, they need to send you the appraisal with the specific...
It should be a cautionary tale to every small business owner - one bad experience can cost thousands.
I went in to Continental to buy my first firearm in 2013. I was treated like an idiot, like I was a bother, and then someone else came in to the store, picked up a rifle, and pointed it at...
I'm a real estate agent in the Baltimore Metro area, and would be happy to answer your, or anyone else's, questions. No obligation, always just happy to help. Shoot me a private message and I'll give you my contact info so we can talk specifics. Again, absolutely no obligation to work with...
Take a Stop the Bleed class. They used to have them at Sinai for free. Go to stopthebleed.org and search for local classes.
Sinai had paired Stop the Bleed with an active shooter class.. that class was far more for hospital employees, but still somewhat useful.
Mine is the same, but I'm obviously not as handsome. Or as tall.
You have to look pretty closely to see that it's a permit to carry. One could easily mistake that it's an HQL if one has not seen many (any) of them.
Although, now that I'm looking, my Utah permit says 'Concealed Firearm...
I live in Little Italy now, and I think we would just laugh if a police officer said anything to us about an open container.
I lived in Canton from 06 to 12, and used to congregate with neighbors in front of our houses. Cop rolled by looking for someone and stopped to talk to us. He...
