Hi,
I was wondering if any shop around Baltimore or DC has Century Arms VZ 2008's in stock for around $500? I was thinking to make my first purchase of 2015 once my tax return comes in.
Thanks
Everything you are saying makes perfect sense. What really sucks is that I paid a premium price for a bottom of the barrel gun ($1000 for the WASR-10)
After having a terrible experience with that rifle, even though its functioning fine now, I decided to do my research and get a better...
Tell me about it! :sad20: The whole reason I chose the AK platform to spend the big bucks on was because of the reported reliability. So far the budget AR I have has been 100 times more reliable than my AK74.
However, I will say that I got back the Wasr-10 from Century Arms (after they had...
Just got back from the range with my new Waffen Werks Ak74 and wanted to ask some advice.
I noticed several FTFs with this rifle - I was wondering if anyone else has a Waffen Werks that had similar issues and knows a way to fix this.
I was using WPA non-corrosive ammo with Bulgarian...
Awesome! thanks!
Couple follow up Q's: its not an issue to have the buffer tube against your body for support while you shoot is it?
Also, would it be okay to put a vertical grip on the handguard or would that be an issue?
Quick question,
If I am building an AR with a lower i purchased, would it be legal to put a short barrel on it as long as there is no butt-stock (just the buffer tube)?
I was told the same thing when inquiring about the HBAR... I told them I saw some for sale at the shooting range I go to in MD last week and they called me a liar :sad20:
I was pretty disappointed overall. Did get a couple nice things though.
I was at Bass Pro in PA last week and a firearms associate told me that they wouldn't sell non regulated to MD people.. something about their lawyers recommending not to until they figure out whats going on with our new laws :sad20:
Hi all,
I just received an AR that a local gunsmith put together for me. I was going over the functionality of the rifle to make myself familiar with it before taking it to the range. One of the things I did was to chamber and eject a round.
Upon inspection of the ejected round, I...
I guess the LGS I go to makes the person putting a gun on consignment agree that he will pay for repairs if the firearm does not function upon purchase. No one wants to buy a broken gun.
I would but it's already somewhere else. Plus my LGS said since it was consignment the original owner would have to pay all the repair costs since they gave them a faulty rifle to sell so I would have no out of pocket expense. Guess that's one good thing..
Just wanted to update you all and ask for a bit of advise.
My LGS contacted Century about the problems I was having with the rifle and they suggested it be sent to a 3rd party gunsmith they work with (don't know the name of the place, but can find out..)
My LGS sent them the rifle back in...
