I will agree that alot of ffls dont understand the laws, many places have been saying 30 days AFTER you receive your firearm you can apply again, and that is NOT right
Ok i have to say this and i know im going to get crap but here goes, for one stop calling screaming at ffls that wont do this, stop with threatening emails and cursing at them it is entirely THEIR choice to do this, it does not help the situation. Also the moment someone that isn't supposed to...
I think everyone is missing something here, on the federal level you NEED an NCIS (? May got the name wrong wuteffs) so here is the issue as it stands now msp run that as they are reviewing your 77r BUT i think the ffls CAN run you through themselves and get that number
All pawn made me a bit angry today telling me my sks with a factory fixed mag in a folding stock is regulated... Grrr i hope they change their minds soon on this 8 day thing i like them alot but this is killing me, just got my DC too
So i win a bid on a sks in a folding stock and detachable magazine, i contact the seller and ask him to install the original 10rd box magazine before he shipped it out so i could avoid this 2 year fricken wait we are in. It gets in and my ffl says its regulated because of the folding stock...
I dont know man its a crap shoot, legally im NOT taking possession of 2 in a same month so not breaking the law... Just waiting for my collectors permit and it wont matter lol
See? I dont think thats right, every ffl has a different policy and it confuses many people (just like the 7 day rule) my ffl said i was good to go so why would they let me do this if they get disapproved back??
I asked the same question, it seems to me it would be ok, because they will look back at the last approval date and at the rate they are going there is no way that would be less than 30 days, but MD gun law explanations are like a**holes everyone has one lol :D
Question here, still waiting for my stuff but i have been going by 30 days from the day my ffl sent the paperwork out. I have gotten alot of crap from my friends because they say it was to soon, but the ffl said it was ok... Is that right? I really hope i don't get denied on a stupid...
Wait, page 14 and 15 of the bill, is that saying we cant shoot a "banned" firearm at a range because we aren't allowed to transport it??? Did anybody see this???
I have read through the bill and it seems to me that after oct. 1st you will just flat out not be able to buy 99% of the semiauto rifles period. This IS the most restrictive gun law state in the country now, there are no loopholes my friends. We can only hope it gets ruled unconstitutional.
