Ordered at 11pm on Sunday night, received today (Wednesday). Midway is by far my favorite shop online, never had any issues with them and prices are great. Got a $40 gift card as part of the deal on the Vortex scope.
I prefer these silica gel packs that can be recharged by putting them in the oven. https://www.ebay.com/itm/40-Gram-Silica-Gel-Desiccant-Moisture-Absorber-Dehumidifier-2-pack-/254788522578

This guy got a visit simply for buying diesel filters. He happened to buy some gun parts around the same time and authorities assumed he bought the diesel filters to use as suppressors.

P80s are made to be compatible with gen 3 parts. The gen 5 19 barrel is compatible with gen 3 slides, so you should not have any issues if you use a gen 3 slide with your barrel.
Not sure about gen 4 or 5 slides. At a minimum they would require dremelling out more space on the p80 frame for...
The spring cups should fit pretty snug in the channel liner. You can put the spring on the firing pin with the spring cups and see if goes in tight to check if there is a channel liner. If it wobbles a lot then you know there is no liner installed.
This thread shows an example pic of a slide...
I got the g19 stainless barrel for $42 after the %15 off coupon. It looks and fits great in my Brownells slide. I have not shot it yet so I can't speak for the accuracy, but you can't beat the price.
Normally if you flip the gas block upside down on the barrel, you can use the screw hole as a guide to make sure the hole is lined up. I think most companies drill the screws in line with the gas hole so you can use it as a guide. The clamp-on style also should have a guide hole you can use.
I bought one about a year ago for $120. Sold it a few months later for $100 and bought a Aimpoint PRO for $360.
Pros: Holds zero, mounts nice and solid, has iron sights built-in on top, I really liked the overall shape/size of the T-dot
Cons: Mine had really blurry crosshairs (main reason for...

I have an AR in 7.62x39. I have no complaints. I do not have, and have not shot a 300BLK AR so I can't really compare the two, but keep in mind that 300BLK ammo costs about three times as much as the cheap steel cased 7.62x39 ammo.
Another Aimpoint PRO here. Got it on sale for $362. Keep an eye on slickguns.com and you'll see them on sale every once in a while. I love everything about it(except the price lol). I'm a cheap guy and couldn't justify paying that much for a sight, so I originally had a Bushnell AR Optics 1x MP...
