This is exactly how he responded back in February when asked about the vote (cloture/final). Note the distinct lack of anything regarding the final vote.
I'm sure this has been answered before, but, for those of us considering coming down:
what is the best option for parking? Is there something closer and/or cheaper than the stadium lot?
Bollocks. The leadership has been playing games all along - revoting amendments, splitting the bill across House committees and so on. They started this mess; he can help to end it.
When the vote for cloture came, Brochin voted against it; Senators DeGrange and Middleton, who, I believe, were acting pro-2A, voted for cloture.
When the final bill vote came, they flip-flopped - Brochin voted for the bill, the other 2 against, presumably so they could save face with constituents.
I sent a few e-mails back and forth with him earlier re: the filibuster/cloture issue. He said he would not vote for cloture until he got more, specifically the no good time credits bit. Well, he got what he wanted by two.
