Vortex Spark $200
Holosun $170

...really depends what you want the optic for. Hunting? Bench target shooting? 3-gun? Clearing Mom's basement, over and over and over again?
Outside of your $200 window, but I have a like-new, in...
You can build your own pellet trap if you happen to have scrap cardboard or phone books. Basically cut scraps or stack up sheets into a box that is about 10"x10"xwhatever depth necessary. You can put a target on the front and shoot it all day long with .22 pellets from a high powered air rifle...
To the OP, you'll love your .357 lever-gun, being able to shoot .38 makes practice affordable, and having compatibility with a side-arm is purdy nice.
I'm not an expert, but from what I've read the variation in .357 loads and projectiles leads to a similar wide variation in barrel lengths...

Benjamin Titan NP (Nitro Piston) is an awesome break-barrel air rifle in .177, .22 or .25 that is under $150 on Amazon, shipped to your door in under a week.
Not the greatest trigger but it can be worked or you can get used to it. Very accurate to 75yd and beyond. Very effective on small...
Second the Single Action Army in .45LC, they're tons of fun to shoot and great to look at. If you're a collector of military arms, it's a must-have.
I didn't see it mentioned, but if silhouette shooting or hunting is anywhere in your future, saving up for something like the Freedom Arms Model...
His exact words were, "..you don't have to clean them."
It may be that he was dumbing down his answers to make a sale based on what he thought I could afford given his 30-second summation of me as a potential customer. Either way, he sounded like a fool.
Stoner had several designs that followed the Stoner 63 and the M16/AR-15 iterations that he felt were potential improvements on his own work, for example the AR-18. I'd posit that the original Leitner-Wise AR piston design was a valuable and important innovation.
Bad news: It isn't the tool, it's you.
Good news: You can be fixed.
Consistent and directed dry fire practice will lead you to shooting well with the Sig. Perform 20-50 trigger pulls twice a day, five or six days a week, for the next month. Take your time and make them perfect.
Then go...
DePaulo & Sons in Baltimore, restaurant supply but they sell to the public. They have a decent selection of low-cost, no frills kitchen knives that are made to work.
Further north, The Restaurant Store in Delaware has better selection, great staff, and no taxes.
There's a nice boutique knife...
Not that I support buying from China, but for $9, you can get this HK knock-off that performs just as well, 8Cr13MoV 57RHC blade and who cares if it gets beat up or lost.

My point was that being an 11B, a medic, a SEAL or a Ranger doesn't make one qualified to scientifically test equipment and report on it. Those folks can speak from their operational experience, which is valuable, however he is not speaking from his experience (whatever it may be) in the...
You got it right about the cheese; how was it dropped, from what height, what angle, any methodology or was this just man with hammer? Consider the source, the author was a hospital corpsman and is the "firearms guru" at LuckyGunner. Not exactly an expert in test, evaluation or methodology...
A salesman at Continental told me it isn't worth spending the money for suppressors that can be disassembled, because you don't have to clean them.
That said, never had any issues when I went there to shoot.
Big question; do you want to have eCommerce capability on your site or just display your work and provide contact information? That'll drive the decision.
Troy makes the best I've ever seen or used. They lock up instead of down, which just makes sense. Tough, standard adjustment, and anybody familiar with A2 sights instantly knows how to use them, be it setting zero or determining holdovers.
Also recommend Aimpoint Pro with the LaRue QD mount...
Just as our LE and .mil and IC aggregate reams of open source information from our foreign and domestic threats, those who oppose 2A and private firearms ownership will scrape and probe this and other similar forums.
OPSEC and COIN are of vital importance in this day and age. Every post you...
