      Hope this isn't too off topic but has anybody bought a gun safe from lowes? I was looking on their site and saw a couple possibilities but wasn't sure what their delivery would be like. Sounded a lot like dumping it at the end of my driveway... Which would be problematic.

      Awesome - I did not know that. I don't know if I've ever heard any of those other calibers called an ar15. I have heard the .308 called an ar10 though. Thanks for the education!:party29:

      Forgive my ignorance and not to thread jack, but does that mean that the only (typical AR) cartridge you can't put on a standard lower is .308? I had thought that blackout and socom needed a special lower...
