      Which Production pistol for USPSA/IDPA?

      Without running out and buying something totally new, I am interested in getting involved in USPSA an I have a Beretta PX4 Strom (9mm) LE model (hammer/safety less) and a .40 Cal Beretta 96 Brigadiar. Which would you suggest as a "starter" pistol for the sport?

      More hand-me downs from past. We have now a Colt .38 Police Special (s/n# 305174) and a Iver Johnson (s/n#61963) in what I think is .32 cal? (5 shot cylinder). Any ideas/comments on age of these? Photos to follow shortly......
