I have an Arsenal SLR-105 that is not the ban state model. I bought it used. Someone had cut off the sling attachment point on the lower handguard retainer. Also, the grip retainer nut is tack welded to the receiver (it came with a Magpul grip when I bought it and I didn't realize it was tack...
According to Atlantic Firearms site, this rifle is legal. Any dealers able to transfer it?

There are no legal AK-47 rifles chambered in 7.62x39. The best you can do is a 5.56 or 5.45 AK rifle. For an Arsenal, look for a SLR104, SLR105, and SLR106.
I just bought a Baofeng UV-82HP and was able to program it with Chirp and the cable. Have you tried a different Internet browser? What operating system are you running?
I was interested in purchasing the rifle and my FFL wasn't sure if it was legal to transfer, so I submitted a request to MDSP. What else was I supposed to do? Their reasoning is flawed because the parts are not interchangeable with an AK47. I am going to respond to them and let them know that.
I was recently looking at the Reviewed Firearms List on the Maryland State Police website and I saw under "ATLANTIC ARMS MFG" it lists the "Atlantic Arms MFG AAM-74" as not banned. It was added 9/11/2017. Is this the receiver they are referring to that is available from Atlantic Firearms...
