      Is the Steyr GB80 that's on the roster the same as the Steyr GB?

      On Gunbroker I don't see any, "Steyr GB80". Similarly, in the Gun Trader's Guide 44th Edition there is only Steyr GB. Though https://guns.fandom.com/wiki/Steyr_GB mentions that the GB is the GB80. But there's no citation. And, I do see one listing for a GB80, the box only says GB.

      The denial was for the IWI UZI PRO, they cite one of the definitions of an Assault Pistol from MD CR 4-301, "(13) UZI semiautomatic pistol" and they say determining whether the UZI PRO is not an assault pistol is not in their purview.       I got my denial letter on my petition on 3/11/2023, so I have until 3/26/2023 to request an appeals hearing. I was wondering if there are any attorneys that the MDS Collective can recommend.

      I was hoping it would since MD defines an "Assault weapon” as (1) an assault long gun; (2) an assault pistol;  or (3) a copycat weapon.

      I'm confused as to what's going on. The models are different, and we have the AG opinion on internal differences making cosmetically similar firearms to banned firearms not "copies"

      That would be great. For denied petitions, I see the next thing to do is to get a hearing with the HRB within 15 days of receiving the denial letter. How do those work?

      What are "assault pistols" anyway?

      I have proof that the banned Uzi .22 is hammer fired while the Uzi Pro is striker fired. Yet the HRB is still deeming the Uzi Pro a copy.

      Just a quick update, the HRB added the Uzi Pro to the roster on 10/23/22. However, I still need to show that the Uzi Pro is not a copy of the original banned Uzi semi-auto pistol.
