My disposable income is the same if I reload or shoot factory ammo. I spend the same amount either way, but I get to shoot a lot more for the same price if I reload.
But I do agree with your point that you don't save money by reloading.
Really depends what you pay for components and how much you use.
I just bought bullseye powder for $22 per pound. In 9mm I use 3.5 grs, that's 1.1 cents per round of powder, primers are $25 per k or 2.5 cents each.
I pick up range brass.
I cast my own bullets from scrap lead, so if I...
I was just coming here to ask about a similar thing.
I'm a VA resident. I'm currently building an AR pistol, 10.5" barrel, with Sig brace. My Maryland co-worker wants me to bring it to a range session with him in Maryland.
Is it legal for me to bring into MD?
Thanks in advance.
I've been casting for several years and I haven't touched a wheel weight.
No need to I have a nice source of clean soft and free lead without having to pick out tin or other metals.
Arlington Fairfax IWLA in Centreville,

And a couple of IWLA ranges down near Fredricksburg.

Stopped by Walmart last night and was so excited to se .22 ammo on the shelf. It was CCI stinger and I could only buy 3 boxes. But its been over a year since I have seen any .22 at Walmart so I bought 3 boxes.
Yep,
You want to see an effective state lobbying organization go to Richmond on January 20th for vcdl lobby day. Several thousand people carrying guns and orange guns save lives stickers roaming the halls of the state capital.
Capital police set up an express entry line for people with a CHP.
But what proof do you have that this ammo is part of the 2013 shipment to scouts?
What proof do you have that this ammo was actually delivered to the scouts and is now being resold in violation of the agreement under which the ammo was sold?
You seem to have an agenda of painting BSA in a...
What makes you think I didn't read them?
The post I quoted was blaming it on councils selling off ammo at a profit.
My statement was that an individual took the ammo.
Big difference between the two.
Yes the council was supposed to ask for the minimum they needed to get through 2013...
Any markings on the rifle of the NZ police?
NZ police, like the British are unarmed. They couldn't have too many rifles in the aresenal so a real one would be pretty rare.
Take your reloading gear to NC with you. Load in the evenings when off of work. You need to do something with your time.
Mine sat for 6 years while I worked overseas. Everything was fine when I came back. Keep it dry and bare steel lubricated and it will be fine.
FTF as in Failure To Fire
If your primer is not seated all the way then most of the firing pin energy is wasted pushing the primer forward and it doesn't hit hard enough to set off the primer. A second hit will usually set the primer off.
FTF as in Failure To Feed
A primer seated to...
Good advice for working with rifle rounds, but when dealing with a pistol round that starts at 4.1 grs and maxes out at 4.9 grs going up by .5 grs doesn't give you very many loads to try. It also approaches max load very fast. You start out at 4.1 grs, then you get 4.6 grs, then you are over...
