For those that are members of the AGC the Legislative Vice President gave an update on this at our last monthly meeting, if you reach out to the LVP or your club officer you can get a hold of his report/assessment for more details.
Doing some more reading on other forum it appears the brand gets good reviews in other calibers so I went ahead and rolled the dice on some 47 grain 9mm to put through my suppressor.
I'll let you know how it shoots if anyone is interested.
Anybody ever bought and shot Northern Hills Precision factory reloaded ammo. Specifically the 9mm 147 grain?
Seems to be available at a decent price but there are limited reviews online and was wondering if anybody has ever fired any of their ammo, 9mm or otherwise.
thanks
Anybody have any experience with re-barreling an FNC?
I already have a replacement Green Mountain Barrel, just wondering if any of the local gunsmiths have any experience with the FNC.
Let me know if you do,
Thanks
I know there are lots of threads on this, some of them outdated at this point because the interpretation seems to have changed, so I apologize if I'm beating the dead horse, but here it goes.
I'm planning to build an AR SBR using a post FSA2013 lower in 5.56 with 11.5" barrel, do I need to use...
So, is this the correct logic for why I don't have to buy it in the Trust's name?
1. I purchase stripped AR receiver, this requires MD paperwork and wait period because it can be built into a pistol.
2. I build it into a AR rifle with Heavy Barrel >16" thereby making it a regular long arm

This may be a dumb question but I've never done it so I want to verify.
I'm planning to buy an AR receiver, then turn it into an SBR. I have a trust for my other NFA items.
When I go to buy the semi receiver I have to buy it in the trusts name correct? Meaning I have to fill out the MD...
I saw some good prices on factory reloaded subsonic 9mm. Wondering if anyone has every shot any ammo from either of these 2 companies.

There are a lot of handguns on the MD roster that the average citizen can't buy. The way the MD law is written the roster applies to everyone including LEO. Therefore there are lot of handguns that have been approved that technically only LEO or other exempted parties can purchase.
The...
Here is my real issue... I have a Saker 556 suppressor that attached via a 3-prong FH but the prongs are not the same length. Therefore the a site-lite (tried one) will not work with the can on because the o-ring lands in between the baffles where there is no support, and with the can off the...
what do you mean by that? Do you mean that the magnet can damage/scratch the end of the muzzle, or is that the sighting can be so far off that it can be dangerous?
Anybody out there ever use a Wheeler Professional Laser Bore Sighter that can provide any feedback on how well they work? This model does not go into the bore but rather it uses magnets to attach to the end of the muzzle and I'm wondering how accurate this can be...
Thanks for the good points all around. I think I'll just stick with the 3" shells. I rarely shoot at geese long range so I don't think k the 3.5" shells are in my future.
