I went there a few months ago and range fee was $10 yet today it was $20 and the lady behind the counter stated it hasn't been $10 in over 5 years. Anyone else have this issue?

I might be possibly moving to NY near the Buffalo area, does anyone have experience with NY laws regarding long guns and handguns? I'm debating whether it's easier to sell and buy my firearms again or just transfer.
