      French Gras carbine from Rti.

      So this is what a Gras Carbine looks like from Rti You can get these for 350 bucks. It has the rear site and I think it will clean up well. These have a lot of history behind them. the carbine was modified from a rifle by the Austrians and then sold to Ethiopia.

      So just posting this to show what a $199 dollar Vetterli from Rti is like. This is just a wall hanger you can't buy ammo for them anywhere.

      So I hope I got a good deal on this one. I should have researched these rifles a little more. I have watched a bunch of videos now and made some conclusions. It has the wrong rear sight a later model. It has some of the wood missing around the hammer. I'm going to have a gun smith check it...

      I got one of the crappy ones from Africa paid 149 bucks so I am not complaining. Is there any generic sight that could go on it. Any real one out there is being bought up by the other people buying from Rti.

      Navy arms 1863 reancting musket.

      I just aquired one and am trying to determine how old it is. i can't find it on navy arms website. I have looked around the web and found they had some manufactured in japan but this has no japanese markings. Any Idea how old it might be?

      Finally got back to the range

      Wow it's been at least 3 years since i have been shooting . Had a real fun time at Hap baker on sunday. We took my freinds 15 year old step daughter to the range and she was a pretty good shot. Had her shoot the henry 22 then move up to the Sks. I can't believe that we couldn't find any 22...

      French 7.5 ammo dosent work in my mas

      My freind brought me some 7.5 french ammo at arcadia this weekend i have not seen it yet but he says it wont fit in my mas. This leads me to believe it goes to some other french rifle maybe a lebel?
