Cindy's Hot Shots Severn Location Now Open

I heard he retired but could be wrong, as I think I heard an employee or two from On Target came over. But I’m the least informed, only covering range and range safety on weekends.

Cindy's Hot Shots Severn Location Now Open

Just wanted to make this post in case anyone wasn't aware, Cindy's Hot Shots in Severn is now open. I'm sure most people know it replaced On Target and in the same location, but just in case here is a google maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/f9mcVjoYFqRTC85r9 It's only pistol caliber and .22 at...

      Local Availability of Percussion Caps

Howdy, Does anyone have a lead on anywhere close or far from Annapolis or Centerville that might have RWS #11 1075 or 1055 in stock? Trying to dial in a real finicky Remington 1858, and common #11 .166 keeps popping off. Thanks, appreciate any tips!

      Metal Detecting

The Maryland Historical Trust is over representing what the code states and applying it to metal detecting wit large. They are trying to take the code and permit process involving archeological excavations and apply it to detecting, but that’s to be expected because they hate detectorists and...

That’s incorrect about State owned land. Your confusing State land with land owned by the Maryland Park Service. Crownsville Hospital is owned by the Maryland Department of Health, not the Maryland Park Service controlled by DNR. But if you happen to know of a law on the books prohibiting metal...

      Metal Detecting

I was at Hovey 95-96, and also drank a few soju bottles and kettles in Tokari. Tokari was most famous for the red light midget, she was an older gal in 95 so maybe she was also famous in 84  I'll shoot you that PM now, thanks.

That's awesome, I hope you find some great stuff. My grandmother recently died and my Dad put the family farm I grew up in for sale in South Jersey, and that was motivation enough to find the time to go back for about 4 days and pound it as hard as I could. I found so many unique stuff that...

Thanks, a lot of the finds were from private property permission hunts, but those have kind of died off since Covid. Most people don't like strangers showing up at their door anymore, its not as easy to get permission like it was. I see you're in Crownsville, I've tried to detect the old...

For real about the bodies, that place is sketchy as hell but there is a ton of Civil War stuff in those woods. I've found them all over AACO and surrounding, some at Broadneck Park which used to be the site of a Civil War field hospital, some on Ft. Meade, and sprinkled around all over...

      Metal Detecting

I love The Detectorists, and I'm not a huge fan of dry humor. They definitely had someone in the hobby consulting on the show, because they worked in so many comedic nuances to metal detecting. I probably watch the whole series every 6 months.

If you’re around the AACO area I could throw you some invites when I go out and show ya some ropes.

Nice! I found my first one at a park in Bowie, I was so stoked. Just found another on a permission locally here in Arnold, but I gave it to the property owner because it has some significance to the property. It had a nail hole through it, and they used to nail them to new barns for good luck.
