Agree it was a great show, but no one had the mags I was looking for: British Bren 303. And it seems every vendor had plenty of 1919 links but they all left them at home. Oh well, my curse for not just wanting a tacticool AR.

Next few years should be interesting. Vallario is 78 years old; anyone know if he's planning on even running again? With Milkulski retiring, a bunch of people are going to jump into the US Senate race; this might free up a US house seat; if history is a pattern then some of the higher ranking...
Hi there!
As us normal citizens are denied the right to carry in self defense in Maryland, and I also travel out of the country for business fairly regularly, I'm interested in some kind of non-firearm Personal Defense or Urban Escape and Evasion training in case I'm kidnapped or otherwise...
Its really far from Leonardtown, but we were extremely happy with Casey McKenzie at the Ellicott City Home Depot on Route 40. It was in Summer 2013 so don't know if she's still there.
Free market at work. Consumers aren't idiots and know those prices were exorbitant. I had a wad of cash but walked away buying nothing. If a dealer had fair prices they would have made the table rent easy I bet.

Gotta agree with this. I went to the show today and the prices were exhorbitant! M1 Garands for 2500-3500 and M1 Carbines for 1800-2500? Thats about 2-3 times what they go for on gunbroker. I can see a 20-30% premium to be able to touch and feel, but that much?
Wow! Was the 1795 converted to percussion cap or still in original flintlock? One day I'm going to add 'the first springfield' to my collection; they just don't come up that often in decent condition.

Hi all,
Bought something from a member on another forum, something perfectly legal and easily would have used Paypal if Paypal permitted firearm related goods. As I was dropping the check into the USPS mailbox, I was thinking there must be other services out there, so I thought I'd do some...
The issue with CTD was not the pricing for new orders, that's free market. It was them canceling accepted orders so they could charge more for the same inventory to someone else; that's both unethical and bad service.

Wow, I was bidding against you on this auction. Sorry, didn't know it was another MDS member. I really want a WW1 Ishapore for family reasons, so if it turns out to not be from India then not too upset I got outbid. Either way, enjoy!
