      Good news everyone, I have been approved! This 8/1ers watch has ended, but don't worry I'll stick around to cheer on those still waiting. Submitted: 7/20 Accepted: 8/1 NICS: 7/30 (no notice or email) Approved: 9/15 Permit 22HGP-0595XX Awaiting delivery.

      I submitted on 7/20, so I must have miss-counted by a day. My app got accepted on the 8/1, NICS weirdly enough went through on 7/30. Explanation for why is below.

      I actually don't know for sure when they submitted them, there isn't an official notification for that. A friend I took the class with was asking if my app got accepted because it was taking so long and then he emailed the instructor after a week to ask what was going on. Instructor said they...

      Actually, just realized I mixed my dates up. My NICS went through on the 30 according to the HGP print out, but my official acceptance wasn't until 8/1. So I'm actually an 8/1er XD
