      I submitted on 7/20, so I must have miss-counted by a day. My app got accepted on the 8/1, NICS weirdly enough went through on 7/30. Explanation for why is below.

      Actually, just realized I mixed my dates up. My NICS went through on the 30 according to the HGP print out, but my official acceptance wasn't until 8/1. So I'm actually an 8/1er XD

      Try calling your local post office, possible they might hold a letter for you to pick up if you told them it was an important document that you do not want to lose :shrug:
