      CA4 Issues Stay, Expedites Appeal

So is Maryland refunding all the denials now to come from the recent C4 descision? I certainly would hope so, but, not holding breath.

      CA4 Issues Stay, Expedites Appeal

I understand this is a first step, but, a baby step. There will be numerous steps to come. I am not extending my optimism that this step magically results in un-infringed shall-issue! I have more respect for Maryland's anti-gun power to be that optimistic. I realize it seems a downer, but, it's...

Let just say all of my peers are anti-gun. Sorry, as I was growing up, none of the "references" I made in life, felt the people should have guns. Suppose, the MSP "interview" this person and ask, how would you feel about this person carrying a deadly weapon in public? This is my last stab at...

Why is my contribution less valuable than others such as : "JFC" or "This Blows"?

      CA4 Issues Stay, Expedites Appeal

You underestimate the power of Maryland. Look at their code. This WHOLE big action is over a mere detail in the code about good and substantial "reason". Nothing has addressed all the other unconstitutional "infringements" maryland state code has in this legislation. Once "reason" is "removed"...

      CA4 Issues Stay, Expedites Appeal

Well, I didn't think "good and substantial" would ever be taken out of Maryland law and I was right. But, on the lighter side, After all is said and done with this current action, while, hopefully, good and substantial "reason" will hopefully be stricken, that only leaves us now with having to...

THE STAY IS LIFTED! effective in 14 days

Wow, you really missed the point of my post. Why should I have to supply references, subject to consultation, interview and descretion by a beauracratic body to enjoy and exercise a fundamental right? :sad20: If I have no previous (public record) criminal convictions, I should be freely able...

Thanks for the balanced reply, Patrick. What is most distressing here is the number of those that don't see the broader, deeper picture, that fundamental rights are fundamental rights. In my opinion, and, it is my opinion, folks that feel that intrusive, invasive, detailed or otherwise...

My focus here is on constitutionality. If they give out permits left and right, right now, it doesn't mean that they wont deny or revoke down the road at their whim! There is no precendent set that applies to their discretionary process that still "legally" exists.

That is NOT absolute! There are STILL processes involved prior to permit issuance! Whether or not Maryland enforces these proceseses or not, they still exist and can deny you your fundamental rights subject to a beauracratic discionary process. I can't make it more evident. Well, i don't...

Yes, but, as you can see, Maryland is still determining your "privilages" and "rights", not the US constituion. We need to be clear on this fact. Nothing has changed here. Maryland is still in full control. Might beast they are! :envy: We must never feel that a laxing of state restrictions...

Why would they change anything? They haven't been instructed to do so. Their interviews, surveys, reference checks etal are still permissable! It's really getting siily. All the ruling did was remove good and substantial reason. Nothing changed all their third party interviews and...

I have and do. I just don't see any change in Maryland's processing. They are still not "shall issue". They are still using the same "unconstitutional" "disrectionary" descion making on determining who/what/where/when and why a subject can execute their fundatmental rights. If I havent broken...

Granted, I will apply for a permit when the time for it is good, but, I am not holding my breath, and, never will in this republic. Like someone said just a few weeks back, they are "ALL" at the same dinner table. If you think otherwise, you are naive. I have resolved to just get an...

Not likely. Once again, back to square one. I am not trying to bring a downer here, I am just pointing out that Maryland is still in control here, not the 2nd Admendment. If they conduct "interviews" "surveys" "reference checks" and/or anything else of that nature, you are still under a...
