      to be honest your bore doesnt need to be that clean. its a mosin, it will likely shoot as well a little grimy as "clean".

      no they have differnt headspace. likely I think the firing pin would dent the primer pushing the round forward in the chamber not having enough energy to detenate it. if it did go off I dont think anything good would happen.
