      I'm not going to fault you for fighting the good fight on the front end. Every bit of effort put out to oppose this stuff on the front end has the potential to avoid eventual escalation and the need to fight later on when the consequences are more dire. Hat is off to you.

      Yeah I mean I think you're generally right. The biggest encouragement I get right now is just that they haven't gotten around to it yet like you said, and that, to me, means it's low-priority. They're tired of seeing eachother at this stage.

      I heard he's been holding that bill (something the senate leadership wanted) hostage for a while trying to get a vote in the senate on something of his and it seems like his chair had finally lost patience with it.

      Hearing that Judiciary chair (Clippinger) called the committee into the old senate chamber for "five minutes". Not sure what everyone else is doing. I wasn't watching but someone said that there was a tiff on the floor?
