I've seen the PA, the Vortex Spitfire, the Burris. I liked the reticle of the PA ACSS the best. Swampfox has a Prism scope that I have not seen in person. I have one of the Variable Power scopes and they work ok.
403 has 2 options for controls, 403b has buttons you push to activate, 403r has a radial dial you turn to activate. I have both and like the radial dial more than the button.
CR2032 battery, 50k hour battery life. I have astigmatism and both work well for me.

Okay, I wasn't losing my mind when i heard their answers. That's exactly what I've found online. I told the one IP that it was from the bolt face and he kept insisting it was from the receiver.

Make sure the slide lock spring is not sitting up in the channel. when you clear the recoil spring channel, little bits of plastic get into the hole where the slide lock spring sits. That keeps if from getting all the way in. You can tap it flush with a punch.
That's not competitive anymore in red dot land. 10 years ago, sure, it's ok.
The market is saturated with red dots, Leopold's offering brings nothing and takes a dump in your front lawn before leaving.
