couldnt you build an AK SBR on a form 1 and not from a pistol? not a commercially built one on a form 4.
but like a flat 80% receiver, file form 1, get approval for SBR, build straight to SBR and never pistol first. kosher?

Currently - you cannot buy 21+ mags in MD. But you can buy from another state and legally drive it back.
Post 281 - you cannot buy 11+ mags in MD. But does the rule still apply that you CAN legally buy out of state, and drive it back? Even after oct 1?
thank you for your response. although i dont really understand why this is targeting out of state protective orders. if someone is worried about their safety, wouldnt someone in-state be more of a "threat" if due to nothing else other than increased proximity?
i propose a hypothetical...
Does this mean that if someone has a restraining order (same as protective order?) against you, for any reason, you lose all gun rights? cant own anything? is this different than current law?
What about receivers owned (but not assembled into a rifle).
What happens to an AK receievers that is home built but not assembled into a complete rifle? In the eyes of the law, the receiever is the gun.
