      Continental Arms Range Question

      If anyone's interested in an update I was at Continental today it sounds like they will be upgrading the range to accept up to .308. They're still projecting this happening sometime in the Fall.

      Aluminum case is OK. I use it there all the time and they have no issues with it. Side note...folks behind the counter told me the owner is considering expanding to rifle rounds (didn't ask how large they'd go). Wouldn't happen until Fall if the owner decided to go that route though.

      Final word on Texas hunting license for HQL as of 05/07/17

      TX hunter safety course worked for me as it did many others here. I had a similar issue that Notfast encountered in that MSP trooper didn't get my attached hunting certificate. Just took a phone call and an extra email to resolve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

      7-day wait, while firearms is at a gun range - can I shoot it?

      Continental Arms lets you shoot your gun while you're waiting to for the "not disapproved". I was told that since I paid for it already the gun is mine. Just can't take it home, during the wait period. I suppose they work off the assumption that people will be "not disapproved".

      Bersa - Yes? No?

      I had the Bersa UC Pro 9mm. Never jammed in nearly 1000 rounds (I know that's not a lot, but never a hiccup at all). Only reason I sold it was that the grip was a bit too thick for my hands. Not sure you've seen this vid, but these guys ran 1500 rounds straight with no issues. I can't seem...

      That's a pretty good price esp if one wants to accessorize in the future. While the Stevens 320 was very inexpensive there aren't as many modification options (compared to rem and moss) unless you're good at fabbing stuff up to make it fit...which I'm def not.
