Good day everyone. I am brand new to this site as of today and I shoot mainly Rimfire guns and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a 59 year old with trouble seeing close up to see the iron sights and to also see the target clearly?
I do wear readers (drugstore reading glasses) I saw a...
Large army men from the Dollar Tree,4 of them for 1.00 they will take tons of lead and it doesn't even go all the way through them even with 1000 fps at 30 feet. Advill bottles work great too, they fly when you hit them and take a lot of shots. I made a target with rows of spoons from Dollar...
Nice to hear a young guy enjoying shooting, great that your helping. He will never forget those times. If you need a silent target for basement use duct seal in a wooden box. (google silent pellet trap) Have a blessed day.
Very nice! I started shooting air guns when 22 ammo became almost impossible to buy in MD. I used it to force me to clean up my basement and now have two large target backstops with lighted targets, one is more for bb guns and the other is for high powered pellet guns. I have one target I made...
Welcome! I'm new here also but seems there are lots knowledgeable people here. I'm married to a MN girl myself. On Target is a good indoor range,I belonged to it before the 22 ammo dried up here. I have lived in Maryland all my 55 yrs. My son and daughter in law live in Baltimore, they love...
I'm new to this site. I'm from Howard County and am now into air guns and shoot quite a bit in my basement, started this when the 22 ammo seemed to dry up around here in MD. It's fun but I kinda miss being able to shoot my 22 rifles and pistols like I did before. I was looking into maybe...
They don't carry archery stuff either, not even a target. When I went in and asked, the girl almost cringed and said oh no sir we have never sold guns here and won't. She said you need to go to Glen Burnie to buy that stuff, like it was drugs or some illegal things that i was asking for.
shooting in basement
Thanks guys, all of the things you mentioned are very valid and ones I had thought about before but I have always been an outdoors shooter and some at an indoor range so now that I can no longer just step outside and shoot because of neighbors,I'm looking for an alternative...
Good day all. I have a airgun range set up in my basement of 30 feet. Am I just wishful thinking that I could shoot my 22 lr pistols and rifles down there with a fan running? Anybody have any ideas on this? I would not be shooting every day, just once in a while. I have a steel backstop and...
