Eley Benchrest 22lr - local source?

Yeah I agree polar biathlon, semi-auto, rifle, pistol, benchrest, precision, etc. all adjectives that they use to try to sell product typically doesn’t really matter. Just try as much as you can to find what your rimfire “likes”. I would have not hesitated on the Polar Biathlon if I could have...

Eley Benchrest 22lr - local source?

I can’t find any Lapua (other than a couple boxes of their “Polar Biathlon”) ammo anywhere. I have an Annie 1903 that doesn’t like any of the ELEY that I have and wanted to try some “Center X” in it but can’t find it anywhere to purchase. I was able to find RWS Rifle Match at Champions Choice...

Eley Benchrest 22lr - local source?

I can’t recall ever finding any “match level” .22 locally. I usually get mine from Champions Choice and sometimes find Eley for a pretty good price from Midway USA.

      Who's getting in some fishing?

Fair question…gotta admit never heard of “Bird Dog Wheeler and the Road Kings”. I lifted the photo off the DNR website Karen Starkey had the photo credit guess would have to check with her to confirm the attendance of the “Road Kings”…. ;-)

      ♠ RimFire PoRn ♠

It’s a shame you had problems with the 1712AV but that 1710 HB is really sweet as well. Really nice setup with that Leica on it! I agree completely that both Euro Optic and Anschutz North America are great to deal with! I bought my Anschutz 1761 HB, and recently a CZ 457 Varmint MTR (and a few...

      2023 Turkey Hunting Thread

And that is why the reg is written that way (bearded rather than male - female). We all know you don’t want to take hens (most definitely not during spring season). But a less experienced hunter may see a bearded hen (not on a nest) and mistake it for a male turkey and take it. If that happens...

ISO, permit holders who regularly go to State parks and State forest lands and Chesapeake Forest lands

Like most everything the Government is involved in unnecessarily complicated and overdone. There should be just four designations; State Parks, State Forests, Wildlife Management Areas, and Fisheries Management Areas. Everything else should be managed under WMAs. From the Annual Acreage Report...

ISO, permit holders who regularly go to State parks and State forest lands and Chesapeake Forest lands

Cove Point is actually a County Park (managed by Calvert County Rec and Parks). But you are adjacent to Cove Point Park you are very near Calvert Cliffs State Park which is managed by MD DNR. OP have you considered including ”NRMA”s (Natural Resource Management Areas) and “NEAs” (Natural...
