      The view even here is changing dramatically. I cant speak specifics, but there are jewish day schools that are seriously discussing certain faculty receiving training and carrying on campus. This has been ongoing for about a while and now they are getting even more serious.

      What's the best starter rifle for kids?

      The Savage Mark I or II FVT (which you can get at a great deal from CMP, http://www.thecmp.org/22targetcommercial.htm) is a good way to go. I was taught on something similar when I was 12. Ghosts sights are a good way to teach fundamentals.
