      Follow-up: I emailed SA asking the date of manufacture and they said it was April 2016. According to SA, starting this year they are phasing out the ILS system and that is why this new pistol does not have it.

      Can you provide some explanation as to why you do not own a vehicle? Financial, medical, no insurance will take you, etc. The answer to this question would be paramount before I decided to blindly pickup a stranger to go shooting. Just being honest here.

      Anyone happen to know an outdoor range (in which no membership is required) that is within 1.5 hours of Baltimore that allows steel core AND doesn't require you to shoot a rifle from a bench rest? I ask because Hap doesn't allow anything but muzzle in the box.

      Interesting thoughts on 10/1

      Plus, if the firearm in question WAS somehow replaced, the new serial would not match the original which was registered prior to 10/1. Hence, the AR wouldn't be grandfathered and thus be illegal to possess.
