      Depending on your budget, decent drop-in AR triggers can be had for not a ton of money. Keep in mind a lot of them require anti-rotation pins which would probably be another $15.

      Remember reading about that in Criminal Justice class and being totally horrified by both the case and its implications. Growing up everyone tells you the police are supposed to protect you personally, and it's just not the case. You're at the mercy of the officer in question.

      Just out of curiosity, how important is being able to adjust the cant of the stock? I don't think that's the right term, but I've heard that some shooters really like the fact that they can angle the stock to fit their shoulder. Is that worth the money?

      From what I've heard, there should either be an S stamp on the receiver or a spitzer notch cut somewhere (not entirely sure what it looks like, sorry) that indicate that it can shoot normal .323 diameter 8mm bullets. Otherwise, I think you have to stick with hand loading .318.
