The AR's have gotten so much attention lately, I thought I'd break out a few AK's.

Arsenal SLR107 UR registered SBR - still have to engrave, chop the barrel, open up the gas port and mount the 4 piece cone.

    Yours are NICE!

    Here's mine!

Top is a Romy G kit that was built by Lancaster Arms. They did an excellent job on this rifle and it's one of the nicest AK's I've ever seen.
    --------------------
Next is a WASR-10.;) I've put SO much work and money into this thing and I'm still not exactly happy with it. I've threaded the barrel and put on the AK-74 muzzle break, installed the muzzle break retaining pin located in the front sight base, purchased a new furniture set, and replaced the fire control group with the G2 kit (It had the NASTY trigger slap). All in all I've dumped about $800 into a WASR!! :lol2: The finish on the metal still sucks and it's still severly canted. I still love to shoot it though! It's truly a love hate relationship!
    --------------------
Second from the bottom is my Yugo underfolder. A GREAT gun and really fun to shoot. I think that was a 20 rounder in the gun. I love those tanker mags!
    --------------------
Lastly is another Yugo underfolder. I love 'em! This one has a Norico drum attached. I've only used the drum once and I actually prefer the Romy's that you load from the top.

    +1 on the SAM7 . . . that is really sweet

You guys have me sold on these/
    Where's the best place to purchase a SAM7? :sad20:

Probably Gunbroker or the equipment exchange on theakforum.net would be your best bet. The SAM7 is not in current production, I got mine from Jensen Arms in Colorado at the end of last year, they did not have many and they sold out quick.

Hey Slayr15 which kinda AK is that? It looks pretty sweet! Is that a fixed or removable muzzle nut?

Thanks JCB003, The Yugos are really nice and it's probablly the only rifle Century has done that is actually a nice rifle. I also hear they have Green Mountain barrels. I was thinking about getting a wood set for one of them.

Are most of your rifles milled? It looks like they are with the slotted receiver. I always wanted a milled one as I hear they are really nice. I hear some have a problem accepting the drums though. How do you like the Arsenals from Las Vegas? I've seen them in shops and they seem like an excellent quality! They are REALLY pricy for an AK though.

I would like to get a side folder one day. They just don't have the coolness factor of the underfolders but I hear they are more practical.

some time this summer when i get the money im sending it off to get it done with proper nodac rec and markings and finish the stock has a serb flag carved in it .

That is a bad ass kit! It's going to be awesome when you finish it. I hope you don't sand the stock to remove it all.

I have the three milled rifles shown. They are nice, I shoot the Vector the most and it runs like a top - it is built on an Arsenal receiver. The others I don't shoot as often. The finish is good, but I would agree the cost is up there for an AK. I don't have any drums so I don't know how they fit.

The SLR107UR is stamped and it is OK, probably overpriced for what it is, the front site is messed up, but I'll fix that when I get the SBR work done. It is a side folder and I have a Bulgarian triangle sidefolder stock for it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to switch it out. The solid polymer folder is more comfortable.

I also have a Bulgarian AKS-74U kit and a NDS-2SF receiver registered as an SBR, but it is not built yet. And 4 Romanian G kits that I am gathering some parts for - one I want to build on a NDS-1KP with a triangle sidefolder and some Russian wood handguards, one into a Russian clone on a NDS-1 and the other 2 I'm not sure about yet. I would like to finish one in a battlefield pickup look.

I'd like to add a Polytech Legend and a AK-103K from AK-USA if funds would allow.

Nice AKs I have a few.

Spent the weekend tearing down my old AKM as part of its annual corrosion inspection that I have had for 10 years. Never fired (sometime I have to get around to that)
