    I was told by a career army guy once " you can't polish a turd".

    I like mosin's I shoot the heck out of mine, but not once could I fathom doing that to one.
    Yup, some are less than $99 bucks, and I'm good with sporter-izing the less collectible ones, but still - that boy ain't right.
    What was this man's goal?

    I have been following this guy on youtube.com. Lets just say some of the pieces are missing, if you know what I mean.

    I've noticed that about more than one gunsmith. Have you watched any of the AGI gunsmithing videos? :whack: must be the exposure to solvents and lead hehe :innocent0

    but anways, what you got against people with "parts missing"?
