When you pickup the brand new spanking handgun, after finishing the background check, what else does one have to do? Will he get a certificate for the handgun, or any paperwork for the gun. When we want to make the transfer for the gun, I'll have everything ready.

    Thanks

And the cruel irony of all these delays is that MSP are just going to throw that fired shell casing in an old 55gal drum pretty much as soon as they receive it. :sad20:

Just to let you know, Murry's in Williamsport, MD has a local guy who can test fire the handgun for you and supply the spent casing.

Does the guy have an ATF 07 license? Those are the only folks who can do it.

An 07 is a manufacturers license.

I buy my guns from Bass Pro even though alot of those guys are not as gun savvy as the ones that used to work there a few years ago. Just a couple years ago they only sold a handful of Smith & Wesson revolvers. Cut 'em some slack. As far as the pic, it must show your toes on carpet (unless you have toes like the one guy on here that looks like T-rex!)

It's definitely partly Bass Pro Shop's fault for not telling you about this delay up-front, but we definitely also have to blame our stupid state laws for having this nonsense provision in the first place.

Talk to the stores general manager and tell him about this and how unfair this is. Demand ALL your money back. I believe that there is a window on your state police paper work. They did not hold up to their end of the sale by delivering the gun on the promised date. A few days is one thing but a few weeks is something else.

When I order special order guns I never pay until they have the gun because some times they never come. A good dealer does not pay his distributor for guns until the are received in the shop.

Hey, I AM a woman! And I did, indeed, buy a Beretta CX4 Storm Carbine after I purchased my Beretta 92FS handgun! I have short fingers, and the 92FS fit them better than the PX4 Storm. Otherwise, we would own twins!

Uh, no foot in the picture! What's that all about?!

I love Beretta guns. They fit my hands, are smooth and dependable shooters, and look nice (always important!), unlike Glocks, that need to be double-bagged in public! :evilgrin3:

    Enjoy!
