2401 Pleasant Valley Rd, York PA 17402Thanks. I've scoured the interwebs looking for any address other than the main courthouse location and came up empty. I figure I'll have to wait and see.

York County is the way to go, they are on their game.Update: My application went in to the York County sheriff's office at 5:00 pm yesterday and was approved just under 17 hours later, at 9:45 am today.
I'll be checking out the satellite office soon. Thanks for the guidance!

Thanks to dabodayous (that Chicagoese for "the both of you").You got that right. There was one Sheriff manning the entry and a desk with two women. There was nobody else there. When I gave my name, they said they just saw my paperwork, and found it right away. You'll need your Driver's License and Carry Permit. They do everything on the spot. You get a nice picture ID, good for five years. Again, these folks were awesome. Good luck!
They are doing them again
I couldn't find the answer when I searched.
Do any of the sheriff offices issue non-resident permits on a walk in basis?
Thanks
+1… definitely a fast well oiled machine…York satellite has it's act together. I left satisfied.
You have to send them a copy of your new MD permit when you renew every 2 years. Or they pull your permit until you do.You got that right. Adams was in and out in 10 minutes - including walking from my parking space.
