Has anyone tried this holster called zerocrry? It's not a traditional holster, but a small frame thing that holds the
gun in place with a rod that goes into the barrel and has a clip that goes over a belt. This thing is designed as a
very minimalist holster for iwb ccw. If you've tried this holster, I'm interested in how well it retains the gun and
if it is durable and strong enough to not worry about the plastic breaking.

I have the versacarry version. I just got it last week. I carried the versacarry with my sig 380 for years....I ordered the new one for my Springfield 40, mod 2. I couldn't find a small IWB holster that would fit the olight BALDR. Two negs, if you call them that...the gun sits against your skin if you don't wear an under shirt. More cleaning to remove the oils. You cant reholster without pulling the rig out...but, it is reliable, rides low for concealment and works. While not a direct review of the one you linked...it is similar. The reholstering quickly isn't a concern of mine. I'm still of a shape that allows IWB, appendix carry. The barrel post isn't flimsy...can't see it breaking. My old one never did.

I made a leather type IWB almost zero carry out of 1/16" thick leather and protects the gun better. It is very light and not bulky at all both for my Kimber 9mm and Kahr K-40.

I tried the Mission First minimalist which looks similar. Can’t really say why, but I never use it. I think it just all the metal and plastic rubbing. Went back to leather. YMMV

Thanks for the input. Does the bare plastic rub on your waist? I would think it does, but the lack of a trigger guard is something most people have to get used to.

The versacarry has a disc that covers the trigger on one side...I haven't noticed the plastic rubbing.
