Aside from Lazarus checking in, no. Jesus hasn't gotten back to us yet.

But seriously... No. Not a thing since he said he wants to "get it right". Judge is probably reading through SB 1 right now and working it into his decision. Makes you wonder if it was the whole point.

This Judge is a disgrace for taking so long to issue a decision on something abrogating a core constitutional right.
He’s probably too busy reading SB1 and rubbing one out

Governor Moore said he'll sign SB 1:

Like many Republican lawmakers, McCray cited concerns about the constitutionality of the legislation. When asked about the potential legal challenges, Gov. Wes Moore said Attorney General Anthony Brown had confidence in the plan. Moore also said he will sign the legislation.

Maybe this Judge is waiting for that to actually happen.... Who knows at this point.

WMAL just reported he has not yet; not that such an action is hope.

Anything passed by both chambers automatically becomes law whether or not he signs it :^/

Sounds like Gov. Less could not ascertain a good and substantial reason for someone else to carry in "...hospitals, and churches and schools". Uh oh. That smells funky and un-Constitutional. See you in court, jackass!

For SB 1? (@esqappellate) Hopefully that Judge is more amenable to issuing a TRO than this one has been.

Hope his honor is enjoying his weekend while our constitutional rights are severely limited…
A TRO is a short-term order to prevent immediate, ongoing harm. IIRC ESQ has posted here he intends to file suit after SB1 becomes law, but before it takes effect. So a preliminary injunction (PI) is what would be sought.
