Even in my 10/22, with quiets and my can, the sound of the bullet hitting a tree 20yds away is louder than the gun shot itself being all right there.Oops, stand corrected, CCI Suppressor is 970fps, the semi auto quiets are 835. Here is some data I got using a sound meter app on my phone. I see a lot of variation and inconsistency in std quiet ammo, far less with the slightly higher velocity CCI ammo.

I too shoot a couple of MKII's, one suppressed 16" (fvsr) and one bull barrel 20" that is still neighborhood quiet with quiet ammo even unsuppressed.
Quiets are highly inconsistent on velocity. They group amazingly well for me out of my 10/22 despite that. Both regular quiets and segmented quiets (I would only use the segmented on something ground hog or racoon sized. Neither will penetrate completely through either one, and the segmented will cause a lot more internal damage).
Running over my chrono with quiets I see between 650 and 790fps velocity spread. Most group 700-730fps, but out of a 10 round mag from my 10/22, I'll likely have at least two well under 700fps and at least a couple pretty close to 800fps. The semi-auto quiets aren't any better for consistency, just that their spread is more like 730-880fps (and do cycle my 10/22 95% of the time. I'll get about 1 round in 20 that won't cycle it, and usually they are the ones right near the bottom of that velocity spread). CCI suppressor have a very tight velocity spread. I am generally seeing about 920-990fps.
I've never measured the sound pressure levels, but by my ear, I'd agree. Without a can, from my 10/22, the CCI quiet SA are a little quieter than regular subsonic 22s. The plain quiet 22s are substantially quieter. With a can on, I can't really tell a difference between the SA quiets and regular subs. The CCI quiets regular or segmented are substantially quieter than subsonic or quiet SA through my can. I'd imagine with a bolt gun, that would be even more true.
With my buckmark, the CCI quiets are a lot louder, but still pretty quiet out of the 6" barrel (I don't have a threaded barrel for a suppressed setup). the SA quiets and subsonic are essentially just as loud as each other.
