There was a time where I'd have jumped at that IMI Timberwolf. Someone here (maybe Chad) took the time to explain to me why they hadn't been popular for long. Being as I'm not mechanically inclined, I try to avoid things that need to be tweaked to keep them working.

Can you also post pictures of the used pistol cases?
All that cash burning a hole in your wallet?

I've learned that the best way to ease that discomfort is a trip to United. It's easy, and fun too!

I'll second that United is great to deal with.
United is the closest shop to me, but I don't go there just because it is convenient.
Everyone there has been awesome every time I have been there.

Everyone is always being kind and helful, and asking me if I want to see something in the case. Its like they understand the basic sales rule for guns, that being "Put a gun in that person's hand, and you will probably sell something".

You wouldn't believe how many gun shops don't teach this to staff.

    I second this statement.

I have had duck shotguns transferred from grabagun and gun broker, as well as purchased consignment and new guns there. Top notch!

Hey United, I'll gladly pay you Tuesday, for some used/consignment pistol pics today.

I should be a "Designated Collector" by then

I'll never stop kicking myself for not grabbing a bunch of ex-Polizei P7s, when they were moving at $650 on GB.

    Right with you.
Like many, its on my list. Years back, I shot one that belonged to a RO at the NRA (Tom). He did work for H&K and they presented him with a custom/engraved P7.
Someone please buy it and keep me from selling a kidney in order to take it home..

I feel the same way about the crates of mosins I used to see. I remember seeing them at shows, $99 for round receivers and $109 for hex. And, you could buy a whole crate at a substantial discount.

We need to get a room and a case of beverages, and assemble all the MDSers burdened with regrets.

A night of strong drink and bitter tears should prepare us to soldier on.

I paid $59 for M44 and $79 for a 91/30 WAY back in the day.

I caught the tail end of cheap Mosins. Turned 18 and bought a numbers matching 91/30 for $100 and a spam can of surplus ammo for 25 cents a round. My only regret is my $7.50 an hour job not providing me enough money to buy a crate!
