I submitted my app 9/1 and it was accepted 9/2.

Still no NICS or anything... Should I reach out and ask whats going on? Could I have made an error?

You should call MSP and ask the status of your permit and an estimate on your approval date. They appreciate knowing people are seriously involved in the process.

    Big thread here:

York or Gettysburg sheriff's office, depending where you live.

    Adams County (Gettysburg)

    York County

Gotta go into York if you live out of state no?

Just a comparison between MD and PA permits (for me):

    MD
Submit to approved - 67 days
Submit to card in hand - 73 days
    Application fee - $75
    LiveScan fee - $52
    Training exempt (saved $100-300?)
    Total cost - $127
    Permit valid - 2 years, 10 months
    --------------------------------------
    PA
Submit to approved - 24 hours
Submit to card in hand - 7 days (pick up Thursday)
    Permit fee - $25
    No fingerprints required
    Total cost - $25
    Permit valid - 5 years

    York County

Strange that it seems like they jumped right into NICS for 8/29ers when it was mostly 8/26ers on Friday. I'm 8/27 with no NICS check, of course.

FWIW, when I was printed last week at the Fredneck County Sherriff’s Office, they mentioned the pipeline is about 90 days now…
