I was sooo hoping that suit was going to be a suit over MD's lack of W&C permit reciprocity.

I thought there was some discussion a month or so ago of the WV AG suing MD directly in Federal court on behalf of WV's citizens?

I just read that article. It would be a strong argument for national reciprocity and get rid of the bullcrap limitations.

This guy is a great defendant. Service to our country AND saved a cop’s life.

I hope the jury makes the RIGHT decision...and in a way...I'm kinda glad the prosecutor is pursuing a conviction/case. I beleive it will only serve to enlighten at least a few on the fringe how inane MD carry laws are for citizens. Prosecutors have a good case in terms of current MD law....bad case in terms of public opinion and defendant. All the big guns should be all over this case (NRA-ILA etc)....prime opportunity to call out MD stupidity.

Ironically , in WV 18-20 yo already can own and carry pistols . And regularly do . They just can't buy from actual FFL .
