Here are a couple of good options for pocket carry. Expensive yes, but you only need one.

Are p365 mags similar width to cz75 mags? Those are not true double column.
My leather mag carrier for my CZ75B mags fits the CZ mags perfectly, but is a little too tight for the Sig 365X mags. They would easily force in, but then I'm afraid my CZ mags would be a sloppy fit.

    Here's what I found:

    CZ 75B mag:
    0.805" wide
    1.250" front to back

    Sig P365X mag:
    0.810" wide
    1.262" front to back

I have a couple CrossBreed tuckable Kydex mag carriers that I bought for the CZ and the Sig P365X mags go fine (too short tho), but the mag carriers are a little sloppy with the CZ mags and if inverted, the CZ mags fall out. The Sig mags will shake out very easily too.

I might keep a spare magazine in my vehicle (even if it makes no practical sense). Those little plastic covers just seem to tidy things up. I mean suppose a ketchup packet explodes in the glovebox?

I used to chew sugarless gum that came in those small pieces like Dentyne used to. I never drop trash and always put the wrappers in my pocket. I blew a rapid fire stage at one of the sniper matches because my AICS mag picked up one of those balled-up wrappers and it fed into the rifle action, tying things up.

I solved that problem by not putting trash in my pockets anymore, but I could see pocket lint, etc. getting into the mag. I think I'd rather use a carrier on my belt vs pocketing an open mag.

For one reason, I used to pocket carry an extra mag for my Sig P938 (7 round single stack). The top round would occasionally pop off, just from getting bumped from things external to the pocket, I guess. I never put anything else in the pocket.

Also would keep out lint, etc, I presume.

Why not, other than the extra .5 second to yank it off in the crook of your elbow, as shown in the video?

Was digging through the holster boxes and found a leather OWB mag carrier that fits the Sig P365X 12 round mag just fine. Bianchi #20A, for a Glock 17. Mag bottoms out fully, is tight, won't shake out when inverted and enough sticks out to grab. Could be a tiny bit shorter so more mag sticks out - I might stuff a packing peanut or two in there first to hold the mag up a little higher.

I'd cut a piece of sheet cork for a insert before I'd use a peaut.

I think you're right, a packing peanut is probably a poor choice.
Meh, you guys are over thinking this one. Stuff tissue in pieces until you get the right height. Cheap, readily available and works. ;)
My concern with tissue is that it would break down and foul the mag. I guess packing peanuts would do the same thing.

After thinking about it more, I'll probably cut a small section of PVC (Azek/Boral) to lay in the bottom next time I have the miter saw out.

Just drop some white Elmer's glue over the tissue. It will penetrate and harden as well as attach to the leather. No chance of it coming out in pieces.
